Water buffalo horn and bone are a by-product of remote farms in Sumatra and Sulawesi. If it was not used for carving, it would be discarded.
Our suppliers buy the horn and bone under strict supervision of local wildlife and animal protective organisations from communities that otherwise have no use for it.
